R9 290 Driver Problems?

Hello all
I recently got a R9 290. And I am having troubles with it. I installed the new omega drivers, after uninstalling and dduing the old stuff. Everything works fine when internet browsing and what not but as soon as a launch a game within seconds I get a driver failure followed by frozen game or crash back to desktop. I have tried several other versions of drivers all with the same result. So I am lost at this point. I have even done a clean Windows install and the same results. The card is not overheating by any means. 60° usually when heavier loads for the few seconds.


Some spec
Corsair 800gs psu
R9 290
4x 8gb gskill ram 1600
Intel Core i7 3770K
Intel DZ77GA-70K

I have but pack my 560ti and everything is working flawlessly again. Any help would be appreciated

Do you get any error messages? What is the message?

I occasinlly get a BSOD of 0xa0000001, but other then that it is just the yellow trinagle with ! in the middle saying the graphics drivers has failed and has recovered suffcesfully
