I've recently bought new rig
i7 4770k
asus maximus vi extreme
16gb 1600MHz
raid0 evo 840
PSU is 835w
my GPU is xfx r9 290
i bought this rig just to be able to get more FPS in WoW for frapsing etc, however, it seems that wont work in my case since i get ~30 fps avrg (my old 6850 gave me much better fps)
I even thought it is due game, but then I installed dota2 and CS:GO i have FPS drops
i have 300 fps in CS:GO and than in sec it drops to 40 fps
same in DOTA2
huge fps drops
any idea how to fix it?
i just want stabile fps with high end gpu
EDIT:
drivers are updated, reinstalled, tried clocking CPU > still gives the same problem maybe 2-5 fps avrg increase
temp of CPU is 45C max, cpu 95C
tried as well to lower temp on catalyst overdrive...
IMO i'd be happy with stabile FPS...
I just can't understand that this 500$ gpu with 16gb ram and i7 4770k OC cant overrun FPS
on my i5 750 with 4gb ram and 6850 gpu
it seems that many people have the same problem with this card :S
