I have a r9 290 oc with corsair hg10 bracket and when I game if o don't push to fan to 65-70% my computer black screens and I need to restart. And its too loud for me And I think it's the vram that cause this. Core has max 50c and vram sometimes 70 without problem and other time 64 and shuts down. I want something to push air directly to vram through a gap under hg10 and I was thinking about those fans they got when they oc on those mobo test chassis that they have a fan that moves but I can't find it if they sell those. Any other ideas or name to those bracket? Thanks in advance

It only happens while I game games like battlefield and other aaa titles. And it doesn't happen if turn up the fans.
My full specs are
R9 290 gigabyte oc 1130 mhz
AMD 8350
As rock killer 990 fx
Kingston hyper X 2x8gb 1866mhz

We also need your power supply, but if it stops when you turn up the fans, then I'm probably wrong about the temps XD

You might want to look into this:

Keep in mind, though, that I'm unsure whether this will void warranties or not, so make sure to check up on that first.

Sorry I forgot I have 750w evga gold the computer is old so no warranties at all but the card have done that since I got it and I just have to turn up the fans. My only concern is that sometimes I can play with the fan at 50% and other times it shuts down at 60% same game map etc

As for the link you posted I have changed on core and got 30c less than before but I don't know how to change and if I have to change the thermal paste on vram. (It's not thermal paste it's something like rubber)

After I removed the dust under hg10 I saw that I had to force fan less power and less temps on vram but only for a couple of days and I can't clean it every wee cause I have to reapply thermal paste

Its on my desk in my room not that much dust. And case have filters. I just don't know if habe to replace this rubber thing hg10 had or if it doesn't fit that we'll on all vram
