R9 290 or R9 300 Series

So I am running my sad sad budget build which essentially revolves around my R7 250X 1GB. It does the job for the most part until I started to get into some of the more demanding AAA titles. Mainly GTA V, Titanfall and Evolve. I am barely running 35-48 FPS in GTA and getting roughly about 45 FPS in Titanfall. I don't even want to talk about Evolve.

My question is whether or not it's worth waiting for the 300 series to come out and then getting the 290, buying the 300 series, or just buying the 290 now.

Please for the love of god don't suggest I get an nvidia.

I'm too poor to afford a 4G nvidia card. But no worries I just decided on an R9 290.
