Hi Toms,
I bought an R9 290 from eBuyer three months ago, and have experienced black screens which force me to turn the computer off and back on again. This only happens under load. I have sent one back, and received a new R9 290 on Friday 8th May. Same problems with this card.
PC Spec.
Motherboard: P8Z77-V LX
CPU: i5 3570K (Stock)
PSU: Corsair CX750W
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengeance
GPU: Asus R9 290 Direct CUII 4GB
HDD1: WD 1TB Black
HDD2: WD 640GB Blue
SSD1: 120GB OCZ Agility 3
SSD2: 120GB OCZ Agility 3
I am using a single cable to power the R9 290. It splits in 2x 6+2's. Is there anything wrong with my build, such as lack of power to the card due the cable, or PSU itself?
