r9 290 tri-x vs gtx 780 lighting

I can get them for around the same price. Dor which one should i go for? I have a 1200p single monitor, and I am not planing to upgrade to 2 or something. 😀

The 780 beats the 290 but it would depend if the games running off mantle or nvidia which could only mean a slight performance increase but I'd go for the 780 as its got much more power to performance compared to the 290, I'm getting the 780ti soon though but still nvidia is a reliable brand 😀

Go for the 780 lightning but beware of the 3 gb VRAM for newer games. For 1200p you should be good to go, even while overclocking.

When we compare amd vs nvidia on BF4 i guess AMD cards are better, but this depend on the game, there are games which nvidia runs better. go for r9 290 don't make mistake with nvidia.
