Hey guys,

I am trying to find out if my Sapphire R9 290 has been mined with or not.
I have ran a Unigine Valley and Heaven test.
Every time Unigine would show my temperature as 1020490 or so.
When running MSI Afterburner, the max temp was 93 degrees Celcius.
This was running Heaven on Extreme (everything max)
I'm not entirely sure if this is okay or not?
Are there any other proper ways to test if the video card is working 100% correctly?
Thanks in advance!

In fact, all these benchmarks will only confirm whether or not the card works properly. One thing that would be a likely indicator of mining is the date of original purchase of the card. If it was somwehere around december 2013 or january 2014, it is almost certain that it was purchased solely for that purpose. Still, if it works, no harm done.

The other thing that might indicate such activities is a modified VGA BIOS, with modified clocks / voltages. Most people restore default BIOS before selling the card, but some of them forget this.
