R9 290 with 14.9 WQHL weird issues

I have a very clean install of the driver installed using DDU.
1. I black screened on Valley benchmark, and my graphics driver glitched, and knocked 10fps off my valley performance. (my card never black screens, never had the issue) had to restart PC
2.When quitting valley, I hear a squealing screech from the 290, new as well
3. The whole card is coil whining all the time now, it didn't with Driver 14.7Rc3 beta... How could this be?
Could the driver cause this?
Should I bios update and see if that fixes anything? there is onl 1 newer version for my Z97 Pro though.
These are very concerning for a "stable" driver...
What should I do? Anyone else experience this?

On the valley credit screen the framerate is unlimited and it causes the GPU to pump out a crazy high framerate (thousands of FPS)
which will cause coil whine. This is bad design by Unigine not a problem with the card

I suggest rolling back. Every once in a while a bad release comes out. Nvidia has had bad releases too

Hmm... but I've NEVER had this and now its in every game... think its the driver causing it? or did it do permanent damage when it black screened like that...

It could be coincidental (i.e. something on the card physically moved causing noise)
I would still roll back if you are having problems
