Hello guys. I'am gonna buy a new gaming computer, and I'am gonna buy it so I can upgrade in the future. So, heres what I've been thinking on:

ASUS Z87-A, Socket-1150
COOLERMASTER Cooler Master Hyper 212
SEAGATE Barracuda® 1TB
FRACTAL DESIGN Define R4 Black Pearl
CRUCIAL DDR3 BallistiX Tactical 1600 8GB
KINGSTON SSDNow 120GB
INTEL Intel® Core i7-4770K
COOLERMASTER 1000W
GIGABYTE Radeon R9 290X

I will buy another R9 290X to christmas. I was wondering if my case is to small for my build? Is it worth it to buy a double as expensive case for Corsair 700D? Or is my case fine, even for crossfire?

And for next year I will upgrade to 16gb ram, and a 240GB SSD. Does my build look fine, or is it something I need to change?

Solution
there a many odd items in this build:

2 different hard drives? just get 1 big ssd the you get more speed in any thing you do.

fractal r4 case, that one smell a lot and for months, i had to delay my build because of fumes....

only 8gb memory, hmmm just get 16 and remove paging file, goes well with an ssd.

4770k is about the same a i5 4670k in games, save a few bucks there.

1000w is for dual gpu, and as its not recommended especially in amd gpu's,, and even more in 290x in crossfire because of heat. your psu option must be reconsidered.

just get a 780ti for gpu, and dont buy stock cooler design.

the whole upgrade thing will not pan out for you, to many parts and some parts is not out yet, save up and wait for you build to be complete.

Dude, I've been waiting since August. I can't wait another month. BF4 is out, and all my friends is having fun without me. I'am not gonna OC, so do you suggest getting a GTX 780? I'am gonna play 5760x1080p on Battlefield 4.

YOur current chassis from Fractal is perfectly fine. You do not need to change that out at all.

However you really should not get that SSD. Look at more reliable and newer NAND SSDs.
Also you do not need ANYWHERE NEAR 1000W PSU. Even 750W-850W will be enough for Xfire 290X.
Nor would I suggest you buy Coolermaster PSUs as they are not really known for their quality.

Now to my point, if you provide your budget and where you are purchasing from, then we can optimize your build and maybe even save you some cash.

Well, that PSU costs 1225 nok. You could try to find another one for me to save some money. Remember to check if the PSU is in stock. http://www.supersmart.no/CBC.aspx?q=c:36217;pfd😛vk-e3041r194r195

I'am pretty sure you don't know what you are talking about. Alright, I can start to say this. One 250GB ssd costs as much as 4TB HDD.

I'am gonna edit, and I want a "future proof" computer thats why I'am buying i7 4770k. Why are you saying I need more then 8gb ram? 8gb ram is MORE then enough for gaming. 16gb ram is for editing, and I'am gonna upgrade to 16gb next year. And fractal design is a really good case. It's silence, cheap, good build quality, enough space.
And GTX 780ti is not out yet.

I know, but I'am out of my budget. I could try to find a cheaper PSU, or a cheaper motherboard. I was gonna buy 250GB evo, but out of my budget.

There is no such thing as future proofing a PC. That CPU will be just as competitive as the i5 until the day they burn out. I guarantee, you will never gain anything in gaming by going for the i7 over the i5. An exact dollar (or whatever currency you happen to prefer) amount for the budget would be very helpful. You don't need the best bang, you need the best bang for buck.
