Hello everyone i just got an R9 290x (upgraded from a GTX 560) and I'm having FPS issues in World of Warcraft and i have to turn down my settings lower then what i had set on my GTX560
I'm using the latest AMD drivers (14.12) and i have an i5 2500k (stock speeds) 8gb of RAM and a Corsair CX750M PSU. is there a bottleneck? do i not have enough power going to it? (after all since it's modular i only have 1 of the PCI-e power cables plugged into it since it has 2 6+2 pin power connectors on each cable) is there just bad driver issues with World of Warcraft?

any help is much appreciated, Thanks

P.S. this is the card i got if that helps any

Hello thanks for answering i ran the valley benchmark and my GPU usage was at 70%-100% and my GPU temp topped out at 70 degrees according to AMD Catalyst Control Center's performce tab and my CPU usage was around 50-60% usage during the benchmark i hope that info helps any

thats a good cpu try this uninstall your drivers then use ddu in safe mode use it once to uninstall the nvidia drivers restart then run again and wipe the amd drivers restart in normal mode then reinstall the nvidia drivers
