R9 290x memory

Does this come with elpida memory or hynix or possible something else?
If not is it just luck of the draw?
Also what exactly is the difference between the different kind of memories?
And are they all the same/equal or different/better or worse?

I have this card and love it. It does use Elpida memory.
Elpida memory is typically thought to have lower overclocking potential than SK-Hynix or Samsung memory.
The overclocking ability can also be a luck of the draw on that silicon lottery for the memory.

If you aren't heavily overclocking your GPU memory, the differences between the manufacturers really won't affect your card at all.
