R9 290x vs gtx 780?

Hello !

i'm confused with these cards.

which will u recommend? since they we're at the same price in our country? hope u'll help me to choose. I have i5 4670k cpu. im using 750 watt psu. and gaming at 1080p or 1440p soon . thanks!

29X is better and 290 is about the same as a 780 but the performance difference is not that much and the 780 usually consumes less power.

It is not louder and the temps are the same. The 290x is the way to go.

290x>780>290 with aftermarket cooler, but keep it mind 4gb VRAM.

Heat slightly less on NVIDIA side.

290x = faster = Better performance for standard clock speed .
Gtx 780 = cooler = Better ocing.
