4k is the most graphical intense resolution you can get, with a total amount of pixels over 8 million, That requires a lot of graphics power and sure the R9 295X2 has, but for 4k, even with such a GPU, it'll still be working hard when maxing out modern games like BF4, as it can't get 60FPS. You can play on max settings for sure, and with that GPU it is worth it, as 4k does have a noticeable difference for games that don't stretch the image, which in most cases are the modern games that always look noticeably better.
