R9 295x2 vs GTX970 SLI

Solution
Don't know about cooler or quitter you do know that the 295x2 is a watter looped cooler with one fan at full speed most benchmarks are showing temps no more then 60c and last I checked one fan is quitter then 2 or 4 fans depending on the 970 cards.

They are both excellent for gaming it all dpends on what psu you have as the 295x2 needs a good 1000 watt psu whilst the 970 in sli will need less power. I have the Msi 295x2 and its an excellent card and it was cheaper than two 970 where I live so it was an easy choice.

Go with the beasty 295x2...
Lot better price and performance than 2x 970 sli...
Or wait a couple of months for r9 390x.. That wil easily surpass 980, accordin to leaked benchmarks... And definitely wil b cheaper than 980...

But for 295x2 u'l need 1kw psu n for 970 sli setup u'l b hapy go lucky with 750w psu..

Dnt 4get to select the best answer...

R9 295X2 hands down. This thing runs cool max temp ive had playing BF4 for 4 hours was 51. yes 51. Plus its 2 gpu one one PCB so you save lots of room in your case, you save PCI slots and a lot less heat in your case compared to 2 cards running in cross or sli. Then in couple years you can get another r9 295x2 and make it quadfire on 2 PCI slots. Some people dont get it specially nVidia fanboys. IM not saying Nvidia is bad-opposite its great but you have to look for future what will make it better for upgrades and stuff. Ive owned GTX 770 and 780 with titan coolers and 980 and i came back to Radeon. Its personal thing i guess.

Hope that helps
