I'm stuck at deciding between these 2 cards. They cost almost the same (the 960 being like 5 bucks more expensive), but the 4GB 380 is out of my budget. If I buy either of these I will keep it for 3-4 years so longevity is what matters. I'd get the 960 for the 4 GB, but it has a small bus and I fear that Maxwell will be dumped for Pascal just like Kepler was. Another option is to wait for the r9 470, but I have no idea how much it will cost.

Yeah that changes things. If you can wait, get the 1060 or...
What brand of the two cards are you looking at? There is no way the 4gb version of the 380 costs more than 10$ more than the 960 4gb. Preferably the 4gb version of the 380, but if It's really not available, get the 4gb version of the 960. But if possible, the best option would be to wait for the r9 480 or the gtx 1060. They will probably have performance similar to the 980 and cost 200$.

Thing is.. I live in Moldova and here the prices are kind of different. The Sapphire 2gb 380 costs 4760 MDL(238USD) and the Sapphire Nitro 4gb 380 costs 5913MDL aka 50 USD more than the 2gb. Here, look for yourself. http://www.shopit.md/ro/catalog/pc-componente/cartele-video/page2

Yeah I'll wait till Computex so AMD show off Polaris and then I'll make my decision. Thank you!
