Would you use different parts at this budget. Only flexible by a max £10 on £580 - to include Windows 10 at £26

Will it be able to play most games 50 FPS 1080p. Will it be able to play no mans sky? Thankyou in advance.

In the end, is it about preference though?

Yeah, if you prefer nVidia and don't mind taking lower performance for the same or higher price. Some people don't mind as long as it says the name they like on the side. But from a Price/Performance standpoint, the R9 380 is the better choice. It wins every benchmark.

Personally, I'm a believer in going with whatever has the best price/performance ratio, I could care less about the name on the side. If you were asking about a performance tier lower, I'd be recommending the 950 over the R7 370.

Anything else you would tweak on the build (changed memory to kingston hyper fury 2 x 4gb)

Sorry for the delay, just got home from an airshow.

The only other thing I personally would change is the motherboard or the CPU. You have the "k" version of the CPU but a motherboard that does not support overclocking. So either change to the non-k version of the CPU or get a Z87 motherboard to open the option to OC.
I would also not get an MSI motherboard, my experiences with them have been bad. I stick to ASUS or ASRock motherboard.
