r9 380 crossfire vs gtx 970

hey guys.i was thinking if i should buy another r9 380 or get a gtx 970. I usually game in 1080p and i just want all my game to be all on ultra. in terms of benchmarks which is better r9 380 crossfire or a single gtx 970?

It will very well depend on the game itself-on paper a 380 crossfire will beat a 970 but you will run into issues such as bad scaling or even none existent crossfire profiles for certain games. Also factor in the increased power draw and heat generation.
I am personally not a fan of multi gpu setups if a single card configuration can achieve similar results.

Tl;dr just go for a 970 or even consider a r9 390

Gtx 970 is definitely better. But if you tell r9 380X 4GB then it might surpass gtx 970.
