R9 380 with Oculus DK2?

Would a gigabyte r9 380 4g be enough to run an oculus with a 6600k and 16gb ram?

Minimum requirement is an R9 390. You could try, of course, but it might not get the FPS that is required.

it will work just lower fps the settings on the website are a 970 or 390 but those are the recommended settings.
