Ok so I just build this PC 2 days ago and the only problem have is my graphics card. When I installed the new drivers my monitor just went black. So I restarted and it did it again after a short while. Is it my power supply? It happens randomly and I really want to fix this please help!
My specs -
Z170-A pro motherboard
R9 390 8G graphics card
NEX650G 80+ gold (650 watts)
I5-6600k
16 gb of ddr4 ram

Does it only do it when under load? If not then it is imo highly unlikely to be a PSU issue.

There are a few things you can try regardless.
1. If you have a Sapphire Nitro, there is a switch on the top that switches between Legacy and UEFI BIOSs. Pushing that might do something.
2. Also you can try a different output (e.g. switch to DisplayPort/DVI).
3. Finally reinstalling the drivers 100% fresh can sometimes be helpful. Download the AMD Clean Install utility (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Clean-Uninstall-Utility.aspx) and reinstall the GPU latest driver.

R9 390's typically draw <300W under typical gaming loads. Unless you are doing very intensive benchmarks and such, your PSU is NOT the problem. For the record, I'm running an R9 390 off a 560W PSU just fine.

Ok I'll try that stuff I still will but the Corsair RMx 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply just to be safe and I do want to overclock so that could help. But yeah I'm going to try what you said.

Holy cow! Mine is going through the same thing. As soon as I install my display drivcers the screen goes black!. It's not your PSU! don't waste your money dude!

My specs
gigabyte Z97x gaming 3
Intel i5-4670k
16gb Ram
SSD 250gb
HDD 1TB
R9 390x or 280x.
Windows 10 pro
PSU Corsair CX750M

You want to install the display driver one. If it still results in your black screen issue, clean the driver off again with the AMD Cleaner utility and try installing the last WHQL version: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-Radeon-Software-Crimson-Edition-15.12.aspx . WHQL drivers are "certified" and are not beta versions. These usually are the most stable drivers available.
A final thing to try is to contact MSI support centre and find out if there are any firmware/BIOS updates available for your GPU. I had problems with my last GPU, a Sapphire HD7950, and a firmware update provided by Sapphire fixed all it's numerous issues. If everything here fails it's likely the GPU itself is defective, unfortunately, and you will have to RMA it.
