r9 390 no signal

Hi i just got a new graphucs cars msi r9 390 8gb card and i cant seem to get any signal from it i previously used an xfx 7980 3gb andnit worked fine please please help me

MB asus p8h61-m lx3 plus r2.0
cpu i3-2120 3.3ghz
8gb ram
bios updated to 1105
i hard disk 500gb
2nd hdd 2tb
cool master 500watts power supply

I suspect the PSU, it cannot handle the R9 390 (also, isn't certified).

My custom recommend is XFX products or Seasonic, i own a XFX ProSeries 650w semi-modular and love it!
