r9 390 vga adaptor to dvi

Hello guys im about to buy the sapphire r9 390 and i have a monitor with only vga connection,i have a converter from vga to dvi for the card but im not sure if that will work...so my question is ''Can my r9 390 run on my monitor? vga to dvi and then dvi d to the gpu

The 390 has no analog monitor support so you will need an active dvi-d to vga converter, a cheap passive adapter will not work.

Thats a passive adapter and wiil not work with dvi-d.

Well in my country this dvi-d to vga converter costs 40 euros. So i need a new monitor with hdmi or dvi..
