r9 390 vs gtx 970?

which one to get this day?because gtx 970 got 4gb of vram where games this day easily use 3gb at ultra.i really want great graphic quality but this 2 is the only choices i got based on my budget.the r9 390 got 8gb of vram.which one should i get?

We have some more details on the Polaris GPU's.

The R9-480 is looking like a pretty great card. It MAY be up to 20% faster than an R9-390 and cost as little as $200MSRP. That seems a little too good to be true, but that's the info we have as of yesterday.

Still, it's looking like AMD will have a great value lineup in the $150USD to $300USD price range.
thinking of this one, i5 6500 processor with b150a gaming pro motherboard(kind of not sure with motherboard)corsair vengeance lpx 16gb ram,fsp hydro G750WATT power supply.if gtx 1070 is the same price as gtx 970 ill probably waiting.playing games with intel hd 530

GTX1070 is $379 MSRP (so typical after-market will be $400 to $450)

It should be slightly faster than a GTX980Ti, so here's a 980Ti benchmark average:

It also has 8GB VRAM, VR optimizations (up to 60% faster in VR), DX12 optimizations etc.
