I have an old r9 390x

when I bit there is 3 columns down the screen with horizontal lines in it.

There is also loads of flashing “rrrrrrrrrrr” around the screen.
Is this a faulty card or something else?

If it’s failed I’ll have to start looking for a newer card
Really looks like its faulty.
But there are still some posibilities you can do.
Have you tested the pc with a different monitor?
U sure the cable is not faulty?
I doesnt always have to be a GPU.
Pray it isnt it since a 1650 super will cost you 300$ now.

From the description, it does sound a lot like a failing card, but would have to see pictures/video of it.

Unfortunately, those old extremely power-hungry cards had a tendency to cook themselves to death over time. 7970/290/290X/390/390X, etc.
