R9 Fury Low Benchmark scores, in game lag

I've been noticing some low benchmark scores on my R9 fury as compared to other heaven and valley scores I've seen around the web, I seem to be getting like under 10 frames of what the common score is. I'm also noticing some additional lag in games like GTA V, Crysis 3, and Far Cry 4. I didn't have any of these issues on my 290x and I'm sure if I put it back in my PC I'd get higher benchmark scores. I did run DDU before installing the Fury and this is the second fury I've owned after RMAing my first 1.

16gb Corsair Vengeance LP 2x8
EVGA 750w G2 80+ Gold
1TB WB Blue HDD

Not too sure about this, as I can't really find anyone with a combo i5 + Fury. But, your CPU might be bottlenecking you. You have more than enough PSU capacity to run that card. Only thing I see as a big factor for a high-end card like the Fury, is your CPU.

The 4690k should be more than enough, but I decided to try my 8350 that's overclocked to 4.9ghz, I got the exact same results
