I decided to reformat my computer just to freshen things up.. And now my Fury idles at 55-60c and performs roughly the same as my old GPU, a R9 290 tri-x. I have all drivers installed, tried updating and resetting my bios twice, reinstalling different catalyst drivers but now i'm confused as to what the issue might be. Anyone have a clue?

Sure. i5 4690k, non OC after bios reset with an 212 evo.
16 GB RAM, Corsair vengeance i think.
MSI Gaming 5 motherboard.
Corsair AX750 PSU
r9 fury sapphire tri-x running 15.7 catalyst-drivers.
One SSD and HDD running Windows 10 home.

I'm currently hovering around 62c when browsing Toms hardware and the fans aren't even spinning.

Try resetting/setting your fan profile for the GPU.

It only works through MSI afterburner. And it doesn't help the fact that it performs way worse then it should. It's 3000 points behind every other fury in firestrike. It wasn't that way before i reformatted.

No, when i turned on the custom fan profile it only reaches 50 c, and the only OC i had before resetting my BIOS was on the CPU. This http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/8793194? is the result i got after i reformatted, and this http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6123409 was the result i got before i did it.
