R9290X Lightning on a Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H-BK compatible?

Hi,
Is the r9290x lightning compatible with the Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H-BK and does it fit on a
Fractal Design Define R5 case? Also, how much wattage should my psu have?

You can use the r9 290x with Z97X-UD5H-BK , and the r9 290x will fit into the Fractal Design Define R5, but you may have to remove top HDD cage. Because the GPU dimensions = 302 (L)x131x55mm http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R9-290X-LIGHTNING.html#hero-specification , and from Fractal Design http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-r5-black 302mm is very close to 310mm.
last one make sure you have the good PSU for the r9 290x.
