Dear All,
I have a workstation based on a ThreadRipper 3960X with a Corsair H150I 360mm liquid cooler. At the moment, the hardware is hosted in an NZXT desktop case that's doing its job beautifully.
I now have the requirement to add one more similar workstation and, because of limited space, I was thinking of relocating the hardware into a rack-mountable server chassis, probably a 4U, provided it supports the 360mm liquid cooling.
After some research, I haven't found many solutions on the market. One is the Silverstone RM42-502 (https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=921) , which only seems to support a 240mm liquid cooling system.
The other one is the Rosewill RSV-L4000U (https://www.rosewill.com/rosewill-rsv-r4000u-black/p/9SIA072GJ92809) which, judging from the photos as well as what some users say, can have the 360mm liquid cooling radiator fitted on the middle bar. The airflow would probably be in reverse, with respect to what is indicated in the picture below.
Has any of you had any experience fitting a liquid-cooled 3960X into a 4U chassis, perhaps with either of these 2 models, or something else?
Help and advice greatly appreciated, thanks!
