My old Media center build is too old and broken now so I am looking to build a new 1 in a rack mountable case, I have built enough pc's in my time but never in these cases anyone got any advise on what kind of case to go with?
am thinking something like
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard - $99
G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (2x4GB) DDR3 - $59
AMD FX-6300 6 Core Black Edition Processor - $155
Corsair VS550 ATX Power Supply - $69
Samsung 650 EVO 120GB SSD - $65
Total: $447
This will be 100% remote login except for the first install. Will have 4 x 4TB hard drives a couple for media but it will also be used as a backup computer for our businesses
Hopefully the above should cover what I want it to do the biggest thing is reliability if you think I should change something please let me know, budget is around the $500 can go more if need be but dont want to spend too much on it.
So now just need a case with lots of cooling dont need anything flash like removable hard drive bays just a basic case that will fit everything I want.
