[SOLVED] Radeon 2020 Messed Up Audio

I just installed Radeon 2020 and it seemed to basically erase the choice of sound coming through .y monitor. I have tried everything the only thing that seems to work is factory reset. I'm wondering if there are any experts out there to help. It seems to not recognize that my HDMI is plugged through my GPU so no sounds comes out.

Others have complained about this as well ... it seems like a driver bug that may need to be fixed. There's lots of suggested "workarounds' on the net, some seem to help for some users.

Plus my friend has basically the same build and Radeon 2020 and works perfectly fine

The issue seems to only apply to a handful of people, it seems possible that it is due to a conflict between old and new driver or windows and new driver or windows trying to interfere with AMD audio driver or vice versa.

Finding a utility (I think AMD has a built in one) to do a complete wipe on the video drivers and reinstalling them might help.

Is there any way to copy all my driver's or my hardrive to his since mine works?

I thought yours was the one that didn't work? Anyway, no can't do that.

I fixed it. Not fully sure how it was a long period of time of alot of tries

Good to hear! It's too bad you unable to know the exact mechanism ... there's another guy on here with the same issue.

Can you give a rough run down of all the things you did at least that may have helped?
