Radeon 280X or Geforce GTX 960 for Mortal Kombat X?

I've been eager to buy a new graphics card for my PC, but I came to cross with a difficult dilemma.
Do I buy a Radeon 280X or A GTX 960.
I've done a lot of research and I heard many defending both graphics cards.

280x is superior in terms of preformance and that is not really disputable. The 960 does waste less power and heats up less than 280x. In MK X, either card will put you at 1080p max settings @60 frames.
