Radeon 390 vs 390x

I was looking at buying one of these cards and wanted a little more info on them. The 390x is $100 more than the 390, but the specs aren't that much better. Is it worth the extra hundred to get the 390x or is the 390 a smarter buy. Also, what is the performance on these cards compared to the 980ti?

390 is comparable to a 970 and the 390x is slightly slower than a 980 but has more vram. The 980ti is faster than all of the cards and when oced it is the fastest single gpu card but it costs $650

Indeed, performance difference is minor, approximately 5-7 FPS more which is not practical in your real gaming life. GTX 980Ti is comparable with the R9 Fury X, it outperforms both the R9 390x and the R9 390 but sits right beside the Fury X. Performance and money wise, get the R9 390.
