Radeon 4870 hd, computer wont come on except fans

i have a athlon x2 5000 dual core, 500gig hard drive, 2 gig ram and a radeon 4870hd graphics card. i turn on computer and nothing comes on except fans? any ideas?

Your hard drive isn't spinning up? Are the lights on your CD-ROM / HD LED turning on?

Have you added any new hardware?

hard drive is not spinning up, no led, dvd drive and fans only things on.

Make sure the RAM is installed in the correct slots, try with only 1 DIMM at a time. Move the mobo outside the case and run it there. Or try rebuilding.
