Radeon 5770 temp sensor problem

i bought xfx radeon hd 5770.
i put it in my computer and installed drivers .
and noticed the air that was coming out was too warm to be normal.

so ive been struggling for som hours to find out how to be able to see the temperature :pfff:

i tried first speedfan then lavalys and then the BIOS and im still unable to see the temperature

forgot to mention some other stuff:
HD 5770 850M 1GB DDR5 DP HDMI DUAL DVI PCI-E
 
Everest has the ability to do it but im not sure if you need the Ultimate edition or not. Anyway download GPUZ. When its running go to the sensors tab and you will see the temperature displayed. Or if you have not done so already go to the CCC and under overdrive it will list the temps.

seems like i should not have rushed through the CCC

but is there a way to make it show on speedfan?

If you didn't already, try this (Windows 7 and Vista only); Right click on SpeedFan and select Properties. Check the Run as an Administrator box and click Apply
