I want to make my PC and have been looking at Graphics Cards. The two I've mainly been looking at are the Radeon HD 6950 2gb and the GTX 560 TI. From what I've seen they're both solid cards but I can never seem to find which one is better. The 6950 is currently on sale on Newegg for 200$ and the 560 TI is on sale on TigerDirect for 225$. I'm building my PC for gaming and I will have an Intel i5 2500K Processor, ASUS P8Z68-V LX Intel Z68 Motherboard, and 8GB DDR3 RAM. I would like to play games on max settings with games like Skyrim, Just Cause 2, GTA IV, BF3, and so on. Please help a first time PC builder. Thanks.

EDIT: I just forget to add this last part. I'm on a tight budget and can not to pay any more than the 560 TI. So please don't reccomend anything over that price (225$.)

I'm still sticking with my recommendation of GTX 480, as it's within your budget and is faster than HD 7850. It will also run without any problems with the power supply I have suggested.
GTX 560 Ti and HD 6950 go toe to toe, they have very similar performance.

Btw, why did you choose such an expensive GTX 560 Ti? There are cheaper ones too:

If you've got a power supply with at least 36 amps of power on 12V rail, I'd recommend getting a GTX 480, which is not only faster than both of those, but it's also faster than the more expensive HD 7850:

Be warned though, it consumes a lot of power :).

The 560Ti and 6950 are pretty similar, but I think the 6950 is just like 1-3% percent faster in certain situations.

But since at the moment the 6950 is cheaper I would go for that.

But as Sunius has mentioned, it does consume more power than the 560Ti. I dont think by too much, but still.

What power supply did you choose?

Where can I buy it for $200? The only ones I see are $250 and up. Unless I'm missing something very obvious than thats out of my budget. And Suinius (I think thats spelled right) thanks for pointing out my horrible PSU. I'll be sure to invest in a better one.
