[SOLVED] Radeon 7 and 600w Gold

I'll be using a Radeon 7 gpu soon and was wondering if my current EVGA 600 watt Gold PSU will be fine to use temporarily?
I plan to upgrade to a 750w eventually but it might be a few weeks.


The recommended for this card states 650w is why I'm a little worried, but it handles my current GTX 1080 no problem.
I only plan to be gaming in 1080p and I don't overclock any of my components.

G.Skill 16gb ram

The PSU you linked is not 80+ Gold rated, it's only an 80+ (less than 80+ bronze quality).

You're running a $700 GPU on a $20 PSU.... probably a good idea to upgrade. 650-750W 80+ Gold PSUs are $70-$80.

Gold is not a measure of quality

Order a Seasonic Focus 650 or 750, Corsair TX 650 or 750, or EVGA G3 650 or 750.
