Radeon 7770: What would be a good step up from this?

Hello. Currently running an MSI AMD radeon 7770 graphics card. It does not require external power. I have a 450w psu. I play the elder scrolls online game and it runs it fairly well, but I would like to upgrade to a better graphics card. Without having to buy a new PSU, what graphics card would be a good step-up? I would prefer to have another MSI AMD card, as this one as served me very well.

Depends on your PSU's available 6 pin PCI-E power connectors and its amperage on the +12v rail (on its sticker). The best card which does not require a PSU would be the 750 Ti. If your PSU is from a reputable OEM/brand then you could probably go a bit higher.

If its possible for you to go for a better PSU like this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-120g10750xr id get that and the GTX 980 and you should be set for a good while

Thanks, guys. According to the chart, my GPU requires 500w minimum. I only have 450w. Wonder how that's working out. I've been running it like this for 3 years. Never had a problem. Maybe I could push it a little more. I can't afford a GPU and a PSU also

Fastest card currently available with no power lead is the GTX750Ti (be careful a few DO need a 6 pin PCI-E lead) but it's not a huge upgrade to a HD7770: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gaming-graphics-card-review,review-32899-7.html
