Radeon 7790 vs 650 TI Boost CPU Combinations

I'm wondering which combination whould be better.
A GTX 650 TI Boost with Pentium G2020
or
Radeon 7790 with Athlon ii x4 640?

The 7790 and Athlon combo should fare much better. I'm not an expert on Pentiums but I do know the Athlon II is a strong chip. However I would personally see about getting the extra 20$ and getting a Phenom chip.

Alright thx, but by any chance whould the athlon bottleneck on the 7790?

It shouldn't be too much of a bottleneck. You should be in decent shape but that Phenom would guarantee you a perfect match. If money is an issue I understand, the Athlon should work.

Alright im able to get the Phenom ii x4, but gotta downgrade to a 7770. How's that sound?
