Radeon 7970 Temperature

Okay so very simple, how do I lower down the temperature on my 7970 AMD Radeon? It's brand new and it hits around 86c when I'm playing Crysis 3 or Tera Online. Idles at around 51c. To me, 86c is uncomfortably high, I don't now how to adjust my fan speeds if that would help. Also what would be a safe temp for this graphics card?

Computer: Dell XPS 8300
GPU: SAPPHIRE HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 OC with Boost.
PSU: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V

You can install MSI afterburner which will allow you to set up a custom fan profile to help run the fans faster. You should also ensure you computer has good airflow, entering from the bottom front and exiting the rear top, good cable management helps as well.

What are the clock settings on it? other users have reported stock overclocking from Dell resulting in high temps. if it's above 950 it's OC'd

You can also look into after market cooling, I have the Gigabyte model that has tri fan/heatsink and idle temps are 30c max temp 52c
