Hi !

There´s a guy in my city who´s selling a "Retail" RADEON 8500 for a excelent price. The problem is that it comes without the box and without the games...(OEM ?). I read about the RAMDAC and clock differences. Is there any visual difference between the boards ? I wanna know what I´m buying before take it home. Any suggestions to check this out ?

Thank you in advance !

There are no (that i know of) visual differences between boards. It will be a little bit slower if it is the OEM (can be clocked at retail speeds). What is this "excellent" price??

I wouldn't take the risk. Shell out the few extra bucks and get a legitimate retail card.
