Radeon 8500, TV out and my TFT!

I want to use TV whilst my Compaq 7020 is connected. My Radeon 8500 will apparently force the refresh rate to 50Hz when I connect a TV. The 7020 doesn't support this refresh rate! Will I damage it if I let the Radeon force the rate?! Has anyone else used TV out with the Radeon whilst having a TFT connected?!

instersting to know, i would want to know this also, i think you can use hyrdavision formwhat to change the refresh rate
