just got nagged by someone for capitalizing everything so have to rewrite or be scorned lol i have an asus a7v333,with an xp1800+ i am running 256 megs of 2700 ram and a radeon 8500 64meg ddr on windows xp i was just wondering if anyone knew a few good tweaks for the radeon as i am new to ati i am a converted nvidia runner (cheap)

Just make sure you grab the newest drivers, and first uninstall the old ones, and whipe them from your hard drive before you install the new ones (search and delete any ati*.* file in the Windows Dir after you reboot after the uninstall, use Regcleaner to remove registry entries), and make sure you install the newest VIA drivers. Their AGP driver can help you tweek some extra performance out of any card.

Enjoy your system. It should handle everythign you can throw at it quite nicely without too much tweeking.
