I am going to buy a retail L shape memmory ati radeon 9500 from a trusted shop in San Francisco, and mod it into a 9700np with the softmod method! I have seen it's only about 67% success rate but I am still going to buy it! even if I don't succeed, I still have a normal 9500

the problem lies with...with... oh wait, i mean get the pro not the non pro, erm, wait, you dont have a problem or question.
seriously though, 9500 pro's are rare, rare things aren't always the cheapest. maybe it will be cheaper to pick up a 9700 np or a 9600 pro, both good and perform as well as if not better than the 9500 pro without any risk and you can always overclock. if your getting it for a good price (cheaper than you can pick up other options) or just like taking risks then go for it.
