Im thinking of gettin a Radeon 9600 Pro. Ive noticed that Sapphire and others make EZ and Lite versions. I know there has to be something different (considering the cheaper price) from these and the standard ATi pro version. Can anyone let me know what the differences. Thanks

The Sapphires are a pretty solid build if you don't plan to do any overclocking.

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!

clock speed is the main difference, and make sure if it's a pro or not

ive got a sapphire pro lite the only difference is the software bundle you get. With the lite you just get cables,
drivers and the card. Apart from that i think its the same card as any other

Avoid the EZ!It is has ridiculously slow 200/400MHz memory! The Sapphire 9600 Pro Lite is a good option however as it is clocked exactly the same as the normal version. The only difference is that it comes with a smaller software bundle (i.e. no free games) and is, therefore, cheaper.

no matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. :]
