Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help me decide if this will be a decent upgrade or not for gaming.. I currently have an ATI Radeon 9600XT 128mb card (agp) and my friend offered to sell me his ATI Radeon x1300 PRO 256mb card for $50....Will I notice a big difference graphically and performance wise? Or am better off getting something like a nvidea 6600 GT 128 ? This is only going to be an upgrade that I want to last me for another year or so...I know agp are a thing of the past but this is just a temp upgrade till I can offord a major upgrade.. I would appreciate any feedback on my situation...THanks again for your time..

I would keep the 9600xt . The x1300 is just plain vanilla single scoop 😀

in English keep your card or get a 7600 gt will enable you to play games and

try out other games , definitly good for a 1 year buy .

Or if you want to stay with ATI you can get a X1650pro which is about on par with the 7600gt

the X1650XT is on par with 7600GT, the X1650Pro is on par with 7600GS

And yes it's probably a good idea to wait until you can afford a better card than a X1300pro

I have both ati radeon x1300 and 9600 or would the evga e geforce 6800 ultra, which would be smoother for running world of warcraft?

i have 3 cards, Radeon 9600xt, Radeon x1300, and the Geforce 6800 ultra, along with a amd athlon 4000+, which graphics card would run world of warcraft the smoothest?

which would be the best, and second best? (Sorry for all the posts, im on my phone so im very limited :/ )
