Question Radeon GPU PCIe Slot Question.

I have a B450 Tomahawk Max will moving my GPU from a PCIe 3.0 to a 2.0 have any impact on my GPU? I have both the Sapphire 5700xt and 5600xt (one for my rig & one for my Wife's, question applies to both)

Slight performance drop but my question is why are you downgrading to the prior standard?

I Ordered a SSD m.2 to PCIe adapter, Someone told me it would be noticeable speed Difference using the adapter in the 3.0 PCIe, But I decided to just get the Smaller x4 instead of the x16... Not sure how to close a thread or if I even have the Ability,
