Radeon HD 4850 vs 5850 vs 6870

Here is my setup:

Board Intel DX58SO http://
CPU Intel I7 920
6 gigs ddr3 1066MHz
Radeon HD 4850 512mb DDR3
PSU 500 watts

One of my friend wanna sell one Saphire HD 5850 1 gig DDR5 for 60$ or one 6870 for 70$

I play mostly : L4d2, Far Cry 3, Diablo 3...

What do you think about the upgrade and wich one to choose the 5850 or the 6870

If you overclock the 5850, it is better than the 6870, otherwise the 6870 wins.

I must say I find your current video card and the ones you're looking at very underpowered when compared to the rest of your setup. Not a criticism, just kind of struck me as odd.

6870 definitely for $70 you cant beat that. Go for 6870

I know its unpowered but the problem is i don't wanna spend another 100$ for another power supply and i know than if i upgrading with a high end video card, i'll need to change my psu.

So i'm trying to find the best video card without changing my psu.
