Radeon HD 5770 vs. Radeon HD 7950

I am going to buy a new graphics card. I want it to be similar specs to the Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950, little bit worse or better is alright. The one I am buying is a Sapphire Radeon HD 5770.
I would like to know how close would be the performance in between these two(I mostly play open-world survival games).

Err I wouldn't entertain the 5770 now mate even if its incredibly cheap - the 7950 is around 4 times more powerful.
