Radeon HD 6570 work with my pc?

Hey I got the Gateway DX4831-01c computer. Anyways my current graphic card is AMD HD 4350 I was thinking about upgrading to Radeon HD 6570 2 GB. ( http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=78877&vpn=AX6570%202GBK3-H&manufacture=PowerColor&promoid=1338 )

But I would also need to upgrade my power supply... If i buy a 500 watt power supply will it fry my motherboard? ( http://ncix.com/products/?sku=66855&vpn=TR-500&manufacture=Thermaltake&promoid=1338 ) Currently i have 300 watts for the power supply.....

Do i just buy the items and take out the power supply put the new one in? and put the new graphic card in? Can anyone check this out and confirm this will work on my PC and won't fry my motherboard!!!!

Dude. You dont have to upgrade your PSU for the HD6570 it takes almost the same power as that HD4350 but its up to you. Yes its compatible with your motherboard but id update the bios to the latest version first. if you dont wanna go through the hassle of updating bios (it really is just like installing new drivers) then get a pci xpress 2.0 version of the card and not the 2.1 version since some motherboards have incompatibility issues with 2.1 your psu should be enough i've seen people run HD6670 DDR5 with a 220w psu for ages

Uff those those dell/HP super tiny cases don't allow any proper upgrade..
That PSU does not fit on the case.
A good GPU also don't fit.
What you can fit in there won't really play any modern game decently.

I wouldn't bother getting any of that.

^^ Bet on rich kids to butt in with their $200 solutions.. HEY nconde! you heard of a card called HD7750 low profile? it can kick ass even on newer games, its low profile and only takes 10Watts more than the HD6570.. now beat it man.. seriously just answer OP's question dont offer $200 solutions to problems that are not even that big of a deal; To OP.. if you want a REAL performance boost WITHOUT upgrading the 300 Watt PSU in that machine then go for the HD7750.. The recommended power supply for that card in the Extreme PSU calculator (the one you have to pay for) is 251 watts. So you're safe with your 300 Watts PSU which i KNOW is 80+ certified.
