Radeon HD 6750 Won't Display?

I recently bought some parts old parts to build a cheap build for myself. After waiting for months for a better GPU, a friend offered me a Radeon 6750 for $50, so I bought it. Long story short, my build won't display video output with the 6750. I'm pretty sure that the card is fine as the guy offered to refund me after I told him it wouldn't boot.

-EVGA Nforce 650i mobo
-4GB DDR2
-500W Antek EA 500D

I have it connected through an HDMI cable.

alright have you assured that the card is sitting correctly in the motherboard and that the card it's self has power?

Yeah, both 6 pins are plugged in and everything else is running including the 6850 fan.

hmmmm. do you have any other HDMI, cables you could use? the cable could be naff.

I tried 2 hdmi cords on two monitors, but I may be getting a newer monitor with a dvi slot in the next few days.

Yes, all clocks are stock at this point.

I'd say your monitors are fine at this point if you've tried two with two different cables. have you tried booting using the onboard graphics instead of the GPU?

No onboard graphics, however I tried it in an old acer tower, with onboard, booted and tried to get windows to detect it but it wouldn't detect the card.

I'm not talking about clocks. Did you confuse cmos with something else?

No, I have reset the cmos and it still won't detect the card, with nothing else in the pcie port.
