Hi!

I am buying a new computer for around 850 $

Here's my config.

Gigabyte GA-PA65-UD3-B3 - Intel H61/DDR3/1155/ATX
96.00 €

Intel Core i3 2100T (2,50Ghz, 3MB) BOX
118.80 €

Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB 32MB
54.00 €

SATA ASUS DRW-24B3ST
26.40 €

.Maxcube Vortex 3620 Black 650W Silent
84.00 €

Corsair Vengeance 4GB 1600Mhz cl9 - 1.50V
49.20 €

PowerColor Radeon HD 6850 1GB
142.80 €

I am wondering, (I happen to have the extra money) If the HD 6950 is worth spending another 80 bucks on? :??:

Thanks

I would definitely say that the 6950 is worth the extra 80 bucks, but honestly, if you have the extra money, go with the i5 2500(K) processor.

Keep in mind that if you look into that AMD Phenom II you are going to have to reprice your Mobo as well.

honestly, if i had to choose i would save up for a 2500k, Asrock P67 Extreme4 Gen3 mobo and Cooler Master Hyper 212+ CPU cooler and OC that 2500k to about 4.6hz. also spend the extra and get the 6950.

this is my best bang for buck build that i recommend to everyone^^ :)

if you dont want to spend that much money then just get the i3 2100 system. heres the difference between x4 955 and i3 2100 http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/289?vs=88

and here is the difference between the i3 2100 and 2500k http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/289?vs=288

also dont forget how easy the 2500k is to overclock :)
